An easy method to get creamy, delicious steel-cut oatmeal. Simply throw all the ingredients together, turn on the Instant Pot and let it work its magic.

Ingredients
1cupsteel-cut oats
2 1/2cupsmilk of choice(I like unsweetened almond milk)
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract(optional)

Instructions
Add the oats and milk to the Instant Pot. Add vanilla if using. Stir to combine.
Set the Instant Pot for 7 minutes on high pressure using manual mode or multigrain mode. Set the steam release handle to "sealing".
Once done, turn off the Instant Pot and do a natural pressure release for 10 minutes (let it sit 10 minutes without releasing the steam). After 10 minutes, release the remaining steam.
Stir the oats and add more milk if desired. The oats will continue to thicken as it sits. Serve with toppings of choice. My go-to is a mashed banana to sweeten and nut or seed butter.
