Ingredients
1largebanana,frozen
1smallavocado(about 1/4 cup)
1cupbaby spinach,packed
2Medjool dates,pitted
1tablespoonhemp hearts(optional)
1 1/2cuplight coconut milk
2tablespoonslime juice(1 large lime)
2teaspoonslime zest,
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract
3-4ice cubes
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
Notes
I tested this recipe with light canned coconut milk. Refrigerated coconut milk from a carton might work as well. Full-fat coconut milk will make this smoothie very thick. If you're not a fan of coconut, you can use other plant-based milks. Soy milk would be a great option for a higher protein smoothie.Feel free to add more dates for a sweeter smoothie.
