Here’s how I can help:
Being a plant-based dietitian, I’m most passionate about helping others eat more plants. Whether or not you want to start a vegan or vegetarian diet, I’m happy to help you include more plant-based meals into your diet, in a healthy way. You don’t need to go all-in. I’m ready to meet you wherever you are.
What I Can Do: I can assess your plant-based diet to make sure you’re getting all the nutrients you need. I can help you get started on a vegan, vegetarian or even flexitarian diet. If you’re not ready, I’m also happy to help you slowly incorporate more plant-based meals in your diet. If you need more guidance, I can also help with meal planning to get you started.
In my practice, I work with a weight-neutral approach. I’m passionate about helping you reach your health goals, without focusing on weight. Dieting can be detrimental to your health, which is why I work on helping you improve your relationship with food, without focusing on weight or restrictions.
What I Can Do: I can help you improve your relationship with food and ditch the diet mentality. I can work with you to improve your relationship with food, using intuitive eating practices.
I have several years of experience working in diabetes clinics. While you can access dietitians through diabetes clinics across the country, I’m happy to work with people living with diabetes reach their nutrition goals.
What I Can Do: If you’re interested in a plant-based diet or intuitive eating, but live with diabetes, I’m happy to help you with blood sugar management when doing the transition. You can continue to work with your diabetes clinic team as we work together towards your goals.
Improving Your Diet with a Non-Diet Approach
Diet describes the way you eat. If you’re interested in simply improving your diet, without going on a restrictive fad diet, I’m happy to help! I use a gentle nutrition approach, which means I’ll guide you through doing gradual and realistic lifestyle changes, without focusing on restrictions or weight.
What I Can Do: I can teach you the basics of nutrition or answer any specific questions you may have. We can work together to set some attainable goals that fit your preferences and lifestyle.
Improving your Gut Health
I have experience working with clients living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Celiac Disease. I can help you adopt healthy habits for your gut.
What I Can Do: I can help you find your trigger foods or guide you along the low FODMAPs diet. I can also suggest supplements and healthy habits to improve your symptoms. If you’ve been diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I can guide you on a gluten-free diet.
